My Journey
2011 - 2014
Earned a degree in BSc Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University.
2019 - 2022 (Career Break)
Planned to travel abroad to do a Snowboarding season in Canada, although tragedy struck in the form of the Covid Pandemic which resulted in me having to abandon my dreams of travelling and focus more on my career.
2023
Attended an intensive 3 month bootcamp at BrainStation in order to earn a Diploma in UX Design. This consisted of over 400+ hours of learning and mentoring, creating several end-to-end projects, and participating in a cross-collaboration Hackathon project presented by British Airways.
I’m a Ukrainian born, London (UK) raised individual who specializes in Product Design. From an early age I have always been fascinated about the user experiences and interactions with products.
While I’m in the early stages of my UX/Product Design career, I have accumulated a wide range of transferable skills from previous Design related roles. My background has allowed me to hone my ability to empathize with users, understand complex needs, and translate research insights into innovative design solutions. I am passionate about leveraging my knowledge of human behavior to create impactful user experiences that drive positive outcomes.
2014 - 2019
Worked as a Design Technician for the Laing O’Rourke on several high value projects (£100M+) across the UK including Brighton 3T hospital, Southbank Residence and more.
2022 - 2023
Post the pandemic, I wanted to change careers into a more design focus role. This lead me to discover UX/Product Design. Having done a bit of research and several online courses, I fell in love with the field, wanting to learn more and create user-centric products that aid peoples lives.
Exploring Life
When I'm not designing, I crave exploring new places and adventures with friends in the great outdoors
The natural world holds a constant source of wonder for me. I'm captivated by the beauty of diverse landscapes and the fascinating creatures that inhabit them. However, my appreciation for wonder extends beyond nature. I'm equally inspired by the creativity of others, particularly when it comes to street art. Large-scale graffiti murals, in particular, showcase the incredible artistic talent that transforms urban spaces.
A keen adventurer I always welcome conquering challenging hikes, hitting the slopes on a snowboard, gliding across calm waters on a paddleboard, or doing any other activities.
