In between projects, I actively pursue upskilling opportunities to refine and expand my design skillset. Some areas that I love to explore including Reactive Components, Immersive Website Design, Animation and Game UI.

Reactive Component Design

Creating animated components inspired by creative designers deepened my understanding of design systems and motion design, resulting in interactive UI elements that add dynamism to interfaces.

Website Designs

I redesigned Netflix to include a communal chat function. My aim was to bridge the gap between solo viewing and shared excitement, letting viewers connect and share reactions in real-time creating a ‘digital living room’ experience. I prioritized intuitive design, ensuring the chat enhanced, not hindered, the viewing experience.

Driven by curiosity about Figma's potential, I delved into its 3D object rotation capabilities to create a conceptual website for a drinks brand. This project demonstrates how dynamic 3D elements can elevate user engagement, enhance visual storytelling, and deliver truly memorable digital experiences.

I integrated Figma with Dora.run to infuse fluid animations into a website, transforming static layouts into dynamic, engaging experiences. This project illustrates how well-crafted motion not only captivates users but also enhances brand storytelling and simplifies complex interactions.

Game UI Design

I designed a companion app for Helldivers 2, focusing on real-time game updates, mission planning, and social features to enhance player engagement. The app’s intuitive UI and immersive visuals seamlessly extend the game's gritty aesthetic, providing an engaging user-friendly experience that deepens the overall gaming journey.

I redesigned the UI for DC Dark Legion to integrate new team-building features, creating a dynamic interface that encourages collaboration and strategic planning. This enhances the overall gaming experience by making team formation intuitive and engaging, while seamlessly blending with the game's aesthetic.
